Vintage Swiss Insertion with Clusters of Pink Flowers
This truly vintage Swiss embroidery insertion was a special find in Switzerland and cannot be reorderd. Don't miss this one. Would be perfect for a beautiful feminine touch from baby garments to garments for adults to home dec.
The insertion is 3" wide, the largest of the two clusters of flowers is approximately 1.15 inches tall. There is lots of room on both long edges to add lace, using the lace to flat fabric technique, to add entredeux, or to simply sew into a seam.
The flower clusters repeat across the width of the white insertion as shown...one small, one large...then the pattern repeats. The embroidery on the insertion is just a bit heavier than that often found on the Swiss insertions. It is lovely!
